Blackbrook

Blackbrook is an estate management app for water systems, pest catches, chemical use, jobs, and team requests. Production installs use Blackbrook Cloud (hosted by Supabase): you create an account with email, and estate data syncs between devices for people on the same estate. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
To use Blackbrook Cloud you sign in with an email address (password or magic link). Managers create an estate; teammates join with an invite sent to their work email. We store your email, optional name and phone, and your role on the estate so the app can sync membership and show the right modules.
The app stores records you create, including water system details, pest logs, spray logs, chemical inventory, jobs, requests, documents, photos, contacts, vehicle audits, and estate preferences. This content syncs to Blackbrook Cloud for your estate so invited teammates can collaborate.
With your permission, Blackbrook uses your device location to log pest catch coordinates, show hot spots on the map, and fetch local weather for spray logs. Location is not tracked in the background.
You may attach photos and PDFs to records. Files are stored on your device and uploaded to Blackbrook Cloud storage for your estate so teammates can view them. Pending uploads can wait offline and send when you are back online.
Estate records sync through our cloud backend (Supabase). Access is limited by estate membership and role. Managers can invite or remove teammates and configure which modules each role can open. Offline changes are queued and uploaded when the network returns.
With your permission, the app sends local and push reminders about compliance deadlines, open problems, jobs, and stock alerts. Push delivery uses Apple Push Notification service.
To fill in spray log weather, the app may send approximate coordinates to Open-Meteo to retrieve current conditions. No account is required and no personal identifiers are sent.
PDF and CSV exports are generated on your device. When you share a file, you choose the destination using the standard iOS share sheet.
